Dan and Danielle Shoot

You may remember we photographed Danielle in the studio in November.

On Monday we went to a secret location and produced some more shots for her, this time her friend Dan came along.

It was very cold and the couple were great.

New Equipment - Outdoor Flash

We have been doing an increasing amount of location model shoots recently.

So last week we invested in some battery powered outdoor studio flash units.

These units enable us to have full control of the lighting just as if we were in the studio but outside!!

These units are not cheap but in order to offer different and exciting services you have to invest in the best available.

Below are a few shots taken of Lucy yesterday.



The two shots above were taken balancing the flash power with the daylight giving a very natural look but just lifting the shadows on the models face and producing a wonderful sparkle to her eyes.


The same again but with the lighting more to camera left and slightly higher output for more modelling and face sculpting.




The two shots above have a more fashion feel to them. The power on the flash was increased even further (2 -3 stops more powerful than the daylight) This gives a dramatic look and also darkens the background.

We offer Makeover Photoshoots to the general public and also aspiring models wishing to update their portfolios.

Are we different from other Makeover studios?

Yes we are , in addition to studio shoots we also offer location shoots in either a country setting or an urban setting.

By offering various packages we allow the customer to take control on the final product.

Shoots can be just for single subjects or couples, Male or Female. Yes the lads like a bit of attention too.

We took advantage of the lovely Autunm weather on saturday and produced some images for Katrina.
