William - Irchester Country Park

This afternoon I met William and his Mummy Katie at Irchester Country Park to take some portraits.

I have photographed William about 6 times now and he always a joy.

He is a very quiet and gentle little lad but we managed to coax one or 2 smiles from him.

Sarah and Lee Still Images

I posted a slide show of Sarah and Lees wedding on friday earlier.

Here are some still images, this was such a cool and enjoyable wedding, the couple were really into their photos which in turn allowed us to create something different.

The low evening light combined with a bit of off camera flash made these images special.

The Lads, always works great in Black and White

A heavy warm copper tone to this image combined with a bit of my special photoshop recipe made Sarah glow.

Georgina and Stuart E Shoot

The second E Shoot today was with Georgina and Stuart, a very fun loving couple.

They are getting married in August at Courteenhall Church and the reception is to be held just across the field in a Marquee on the Courteenhall Estate, its a stunning location - literally a Professional Photographers dream and with such a stunning couple I cant go wrong!!!!!

Here is a slide show of the E Shoot

Zoe and Simon E Shoot

Zoe and Simon are getting married at Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire in October.

I met them this morning for their E Shoot and to catch up on their plans.

Sarah and Lee Wedding Barnsdale Hall Hotel

It was a very close and warm day at Barnsdale on Friday for Lee and Sarahs wedding.

Great day though and we managed to dodge just the 1 very brief shower.

Barnsdale is situated on the banks of Rutland water so after the speeches we bundled the couple into the car and drove to the waters edge.

Here is a brief slide show of a few of my favourites.

Hannah Cherubs Session

12 week old Hannah. She was a dream to photograph. Her first session also included shots with her Mummy and Daddy.

Ella Cherubs Session

Sleepy Head Ella came for her first session today. We managed some really cute shots including a few with her awake.

Ella was keeping up the family tradition as we photographed her brother Jake over a year ago as part of the Cherubs Scheme.

Paul and Sarah - Kibworth - Saturday 6th June

It was a trip to St Wilfreds Church in Kibworth, Leicestershire on Saturday for Sarah and Pauls wedding.

They had 120 guests to witness the marriage and it was a fun packed day.

The reception was held at Wicksteed Park in Kettering and we finished off with a train ride with all the guests.

Here are a few of my favourites from a lovely wedding.

The full set can be seen here http://imagetogo.net/go/?20375

Mark and Georgina - Holdenby House - 5th June

Mark and Georgina were married on Friday at Holdenby House.

They had the best of both worlds regarding locations for their wedding. As although they were married at Holdenby House the reception was held
at Georgina's parents place where a lavish marquee was waiting for them.

The weather was perfect, not too hot and the lighting was ideal.

Here are a few images from the day.

Kara and Tom - Location Shoot Northampton

It was Kara and Tom's location shoot today in Northamptonshire.

Glorious sunny day so we had a lovely time taking a selection of images.

Here are just a few from the 3 hour shoot.

Photographers are suckers for peeling paint and grungy locations.

The first 3 images of Kara were taken with the ring flash which gives a lovely flattering and unique look.

We found an old rotting tree which was falling down so took some shots using the tree trunk.
We also used the large location flash balancing the daylight with the flash to give a studio lit feel to the location images.

Here is Tom perched on the rickety tree trunk, he wasnt sure about this shot but we pulled it off.

In the Buttercup field we used the large Wafer Soft box, using the sun as a backlight and the flash as our main lilght.

I love these next 3 shots of Kara

Finally a shot of the couple together and Kara on the tree trunk

Sarah and Lee E - Shoot

I met Sarah and Lee at Barnsdale Hall Hotel on Saturday for their E Session.

They are getting married their very soon so we thought it a good idea to catch up on their plans and also shoot a few images.

It was extremely hot and sunny on Saturday so most of the time was spent looking for some shade !!!

Firstly here are 2 shots of Lee and Sarah on their own.

Using the sunlight to our advantage to create a bit of flare and atmosphere.

Guess where these 2 shots were taken.
Answers on a postcard to .............................

Such a happy and friendly couple

Thanks for a great afternoon Sarah and Lee, see you in a few weeks.
