This is Donna , who kindly modelled for us.

Donna was introduced by a Jonathan of Hardings Bridal Cars in Northampton.

We are now looking for a model for the final session with this dress which we hope is going to be completely different.

Call us or contact us through the website if you would like to be our next Trash The Dress Model.

Trash The Dress Northampton

Wednesday night we were out and about in Northampton shooting our very first Trash The Dress session.

Trash The Dress isnt extreme as it sounds, we dont literally "Trash The Dress" it means we visit various locations not normally associated with everyday wedding photography and produce some stunning fashion oriented images.

If you still have your dress and would like to wear it again and have some wonderful and different images taken give us a call.

Many thanks to Zoe , we had great fun during the shoot.

Competition Win !!!

Yesterday I had the great honour to travel down to Uxbridge to collect a prize I had won.

I entered a competition through The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers to win a Canon 5D kit worth 2500 pounds and I was the lucky winner.

Here I am accepting my prize from Phil Jones CEO and Director Juliet Jones of the SWPP.

I am so grateful to the SWPP for the prize and I shall put it to good use.

Also during the day I attended a seminar on Wedding photography by top Australian photographer Ryan Schembri. Ryan is only 24 years old but is producing some fantastic images.

Just for Fun

Last night (Tuesday) we ventured into the depths of Northamptonshire ( well ok a Rape seed field just off the A43 !!!) to produce some photographs just for the heck of it.

The Model was Katrina and I was joined by the very quiet and shy photographer Carole Kelly from Kettering ( quiet ? Shy? , Ok I got that bit wrong )

Our first stop was off a main road in a rape seed field.

After much whinging and griping from the girls because they had to walk 100 yards in their heels (they were pulling my leg) , oh and carrying no less than 4 cameras, lenses, 3 reflectors and an all important plastic box for Katrina to stand in in the field, we started our shoot.

Carole looking delighted because she realised she doesnt need to put film in her Digital Camera

Carole and Katrina Lookin at Images

Ok now the good stuff, here are a few images taken in the Rape Seed field

After taking a few shots in the field and realising we were losing the light we packed up our gear and headed to another location.

This location was only 5 minutes down the road but lent itself to some very atmospheric shots

Thanks Katrina youre a star.

We are planning on doing more of these shoots throughout the Summer so watch this space.
