Ted and Theresa's Wedding Broomhills Northampton

On Saturday it was the turn of Ted and Theresa.

The day started off at the couples home for a few shots. I tried out the new video lights I had purchased a few weeks ago and they are fantastic. They give a lovely warm glow.

The service was held at the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Barrack Rd Northampton. I love photographing Roman Catholic weddings as normally the priest allows us to photograph during the service ( which is a very important part!!!!) and this was no exception as some great images were captured.

After the service it was off to Broomhills Hotel in Spratton.

The couple were great !!!!!!!!!!! We even managed some Trash The Dress style shots in the grounds.

Model Shoot - Jess

Well the weather was kind to us on Tuesday evening as we photographed Jess.

Jess was a bridesmaid at her sisters wedding that we photographed a few weeks ago and kindly offered to do some modelling for our new website which will be launched shortly.

Jess was a natural as we shot in various locations around Northampton, she even got some admiring comments from a few lads at sixfields !!!!!!!! But thats another story.

Well, Its hard to believe we are over halfway through July already.

The weddings are now in full swing with at least 1 wedding to photograph each week until the middle of October. This year has been fantastic and we also have some weekends where we are photographing weddings on Fridays and Sundays as well.

New Blog

In the next week or so I hope to have a brand new Blog up and running dedicated to our Trash The Dress and Model sessions, these are becoming so popular so I thought a seperate site was needed.

The name has been registered we just need a little time to get the images together.

I even booked a Wedding this week for next year and the Bride wants a Trash The Dress session on her Horse sometime after the wedding so that will be fun.

Model Shoot

Weather permitting I have a Model Shoot booked for Tuesday evening with Jess.

Jess was a Bridesmaid at a wedding I photographed recently and she kindly offered to help us out, so watch for the images soon.

Mel and Will Pre Wedding Shoot

This evening we were at Delapre Abbey in Northampton for their Pre Wedding Shoot.

Laura and Craig were married at Great Oakley this weekend.

Trash The Dress - Part Two

Last night we were out and about with "the dress" again.

This is Donna , who kindly modelled for us.

Donna was introduced by a Jonathan of Hardings Bridal Cars in Northampton.

We are now looking for a model for the final session with this dress which we hope is going to be completely different.

Male Model Shoot

Friday morning we were out and about in Kettering shooting some images for a new website we will be launching soon.

We were after an Urban Grungey look to the shots.

Trash The Dress Northampton

Wednesday night we were out and about in Northampton shooting our very first Trash The Dress session.

Trash The Dress isnt extreme as it sounds, we dont literally "Trash The Dress" it means we visit various locations not normally associated with everyday wedding photography and produce some stunning fashion oriented images.

Competition Win !!!

Yesterday I had the great honour to travel down to Uxbridge to collect a prize I had won.

I entered a competition through The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers to win a Canon 5D kit worth 2500 pounds and I was the lucky winner.

Here I am accepting my prize from Phil Jones CEO and Director Juliet Jones of the SWPP.

I am so grateful to the SWPP for the prize and I shall put it to good use.

Also during the day I attended a seminar on Wedding photography by top Australian photographer Ryan Schembri. Ryan is only 24 years old but is producing some fantastic images.

Absolute Mayhem and Madness and some fantastic images.

Last month I attended a workshop in deepest Crawley organised by the Master Photographers Association. Its taken me a while to post the images due to workload but it was a fantastic day an I came away with some great ideas for the coming Wedding season, so to all my brides this year, Watch Out !!!! you may be doing some weird and wacky posing !!!
